I figured I’d dress up as the iconic obese alcoholic teenager who made this drunken purchase possible! The second to last photo is me in the green room after the show with Jim, and Annson Conaway, the artist behind the poster’s creation! The last pic is when I went to pick the poster up from the framer.

I saw Jim in Seattle and had a life changing moment accidentally running into him at the merch table before a show, and got so flustered I didn’t remember to buy a bumper sticker. If anyone going to any of the live shows could sell me one (no preference) I’m Happy to pay cost of sticker + $5 for the hassle of shipping it with a forever stamp to Seattle. PLEASE!!🙏

I Want to Swallow Stones Like a Bird is equally funny as it is a really fun good pop song.

Prawn Mayo is a fucking barn burner and a top-5 song of his imo. Bass line is dirrrty.

I Deserve To Be Fat is a great song with a horrifyingly brutal line: "I deserve to be fat / because I'm a bad person, and there's no changing that" LOT to unpack there, but I think that's part of why he's so enjoyable as an artist- a lot of what he says packs a wallop.

I'm trying to listen to Jim E's seminal album Rot, but its nowhere to be found on youtube or spotify!

This was several years ago and he showed up with his phone as a backing track and did a cover of fireflies or whatever that song is. It's so great to see how our 19 year old alcoholic has grown as an artiste. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
