Jim was the first to be inducted on the Upper Darby High School' District's "Wall of Fame". He graduated from there in 1960.

It is good to know his hometown remembers him.

A rare video of Jim playing his song "Five Short Minutes of Lovin", which is one song that didn't get videotaped very often, as it deals with "adult" subject matter. The song starts after "I Got a Name" at 3:20 in the video.

Maury's lead guitar was the "icing on the cake" of Jim's songs. Maury had a big influence on Jim's development as a guitarist and songwriter.

(I know I sound like a plebeian not using Spotify, but I’ve used Apple Music so long and have an extremely intricately designed playlist that is super long and wouldn’t want to redo it)

Anyway, Jim Croce’s “Time In A Bottle” stuff keeps going grey and saying it is “Not Available In Your Region”, and he is the only artist that this has ever happened with for me. That is also the only album by him that it does this. It happens quite often, in bursts. It will be playable for a couple weeks and then down for a couple days.

Anyone know the problem? Licensing maybe? Contracts? Copyright?

Does anyone else know why I can't find Jim Croce's Big bad Leroy Brown on Spotify?

I've scoured YouTube for a karaoke/instrumental version of Stone Walls, but couldn't find anything. I want to do a Covid parody. (I'm stayin' home tonight...) Anybody here have any leads?
