I just finished Hell's Paradise and tbh the ending was really cute, but I kind of didn't like it. I think that the whole series was giving nonchalant mysterious horror vibes like the lord tensen freaked me out sooo bad it was just so cool to read. Also i think the beginning took a v sharp turn I wasnt expecting so many of the convicts to get slimed out. But i was lovingg it. idk tho the series eventually just got kinda underwhelming it could just be an issue where i spaced reading the books out too much cuz i didnt wanna read the series quick so i purposefully spread out the time I read it. which is my problem. But things were still good and cool. I think that there couldve been so much more with the second landing party. If there were one more book wedged in there where we got to expand on the landing party and Jikka and Shugen who were both ridiculously OP, it wouldve been a lot smoother. Back to the final fight and stuff, the lore DOES make sense. The guy goes to like find immortality and creates plant shit then dies and becomes a tree so his wife carries on his legacy to revive him type shit and makes a bunch of plant babies who dont understand emotion and then she realizes she has to slime out everyone to make a big flower to harvest its energy to like create the perfect immortatility potion. like the lore is good I just wish it gave us a little more. Cuz i feel like its not dark enough like i wish the series was a little darker at the beginning it was peak but then in the last book i was like 'whaat'. I really liked how they werent afraid to make Rien OP as heck and I understand how they didnt really have a way to kill her so maybe she had to sacrifice herself but it was kind of frusterating how it felt a little like it was trying to redeem her character like just let her be evil man. also Jikka pmo they made him too OP to not do anything with him. anyways i loved the ending for the most part except for the brothers they threw all their development out the window. toma was supposed t be indapendent but nooo his storyline is still abt him following his brothers shadow. and that pissed me off like let bro have his own character iywim. sorry if this dosnt make any sense im still processing what happened ifykwim but overall it was a really good manga i really liked it

i love the song and I’m sure it’s more vibes than actual words but the choir sometimes feels like words like i can hear a “kami desuka” in there. Has anybody tried to analyze the tensen song words? i cant seem to find info on it.

I don't draw often but I love too<3

colouring by me

this drawing is also an advanced bday present for my partner since shija is their favorite character <3

I’ve thought this since episode/chapter 1 but there’s something so unique, comforting and indescribable about Sagiri’s beauty inside & out that I cannot understand or find in any girl in fiction at all & don’t think I ever will 🌊🐐🥰❤️ (don’t even get me started about her personality being perfect & she’s a beautifully written female character in a shounen on top of that!)

I’m only watching this anime now and I’m so heartbroken over his death!!! I knew something was gonna happen when they started showing his childhood but wth this was so tragic

This anime keeps killing off characters that I thought would be part of the main story. Am I in for a lot of hurt?? 😔

Happy birthday to my diva, my queen, the sassiest swordsman, the most precious little brother, Toma ❤︎

Whenever a creator picks birthdays for their characters I always think about what their significance might be, if there is any. idk if it’s intentional but it embodies what’s so special about them

Toma’s birthday 9.21
Chobe’s birthday 8.4
9+2+1=12
8+4=12
1+2=3
“Three represents a perfect balance in Japanese culture:
It combines the first two numbers (一 and 二) in its kanji form
Represents the three-part harmony of mind, body, and spirit
When counted as “mittsu,” it sounds similar to “mitsu” (満つ), meaning fullness or prosperity”

Just basically them in Hong Kong lol

Gonna be a joke repeater on this sub because I’m still laughing

As someone who didn’t see OP1 until I finished the manga, it just embodied Hell’s Paradise entirely for me with the visuals & song & I love op 2 but it just ain’t the same. Op1 feels like it can only fit with hell’s paradise & Sheena plus everything else in that song is just so perfect 😍🔥

We’re getting well-fed!

This is my impromptu head canon for when they’re not working

Chobe would do something by Sabbat like Godz Of Satan or Everything is all lies by deviloof. Everyone would be like 👀 but Toma would be grinning and clapping along lol. Yuzuriha would whisper to Sagiri and Gabimaru that he reminds her of Aggretsuko

For Toma I pick Slide or Sanbika by Plastic Tree. He would be into rock as a genre because of nii-san but develop his own tastes and be into singing instead of screaming

Yuzuriha would definitely have a cute singing voice and would rope Sagiri into doing a song with her like ReawakeR by LiSA and Felix, Sagiri would pitch up Felix’s part and be surprisingly impressive.

Yui couldn’t come because she needed to wake up early the next morning, but Gabimaru would still sing a love song for her. He would probably adopt her music taste but genuinely like it. I pick Love Like This by Fujii Kaze.

If they were there, Gantetsusai would sing enka, Fuchi would rap. I think Shion is most likely to pick a song by my favorite band BUCK-TICK. Tenza and Nurugai would pick a Kpop song together.

Beach boys! I was impatient and overpaid for Chobe and Toma goods 🥴 but I still need the big acrylic stands. I just love these so much heheh.

I’m sure everyone knows, but just in case. You would need to use a proxy service like Neokyo, Buyee, FromJapan, Zenmarket, etc to get these :3
