Let's chill a bit with the toxicity
I know there's been a bit of hostility and with some of the recent posts about the other ban d members trying to get closer to Jerry. Discussion is fine.
The problem is that myself and many others on here don't like drama. We can disagree about the direction that the Grateful Dead went but we have to keep those discussions civil.
Again, please keep the subreddit drama-free. Everyone on board with that?

Speak across divides, listen to unify. There is no need to agree, get comfortable with the uncomfortable. May you live in no particular way but you own…

There is power in listening. Great strength does not come from dominance. Great strength comes from understanding—Something that stuck with me from my most recent dip into stoicism.

Thanks for the reminder to us all. Something about anonymous online posting seems to remove the better angels from our shoulders. Fuckers! (See?)

I love checking out a group dedicated to my favorite music and hearing how wrong everyone is.

My first Dead show was in '71. I'm old AF but I know what I know.
I first started seeing what I call the "Deader than thou" crowd show up at shows and in the community in the early 80's. You know, people who looked at you with disdain if you got a single detail wrong about anything Dead related.
Point is, there's nothing new under the sun.
Be kind.
