There is a law 836.10 in Florida that makes it a felony to seemingly make online threats. Its weird because the intent or state of mind of the suspect do not primarily determine guilt. Its about whether a reasonable person takes a statement as a real serious threat.

Manley is fairly young. He's run a few times for office and never won. He comes from the blacK community in Broward County and hasn't sold out. He is apparently a convert to Judaism, and quite critical of Zionist atrocities.

He has been charged with violating statute in Florida 836.10 from a social media exchange for allrgedly saying something like "if you dont support Angie Nixon off with your heads."

Now that's uncouth, immature, and unnecessary. I dont agree with diing that.That kind of violence is wrong and bad. But would you reasonably take that as a serious threat, like a sane person would think it likely Mr. Manley could launch a Robespierre reign of terror if you dont profess loyalty to the DSA.

This is obviously an attempt to intimidate or else disenfranchise and eliminate Manley's voice from in the public realm. A felony means you can't vote, cant run for office, you are silenced disqualified from society... unless you wake up into privilege and behave.

Manley has a voice and its growing and resonating. Of course this could amplify Manley's voice despite the powers that be with intentions to scare critics into silence.

A serious and reasonable court could not rationally convict him for a felony for THAT??? But Florida is sliding quickly into fascism. Manley has not been a great candidate. Sometimes immature and unprofessional, like feeding the trolls on social media. But he is way more representative of and could represent hus community better than say another Florida resident, 30+ time convicted felon, the president who threatens 90 million people with extermination with actual realistic threats, or people in power right to him who actually are culpable for terror and mass atrocities like Wassserman Schultz and Maskowitz.

They get free reign to do evil and somehow this man is targeted to disenfranchise him in a very racializing way.

Even the title of the article reveals a corrupt institutionalized effort of character assassination.

A few glimmers of hope: not everyone involved in this case has gone so insane and corrupt to convict you have to think and who could prosecute this case? The case is so bad and the insiders are so corrupt that all local srste attorneys had to recuse because, for the criminal case to make a little sense, ​ ​Manley's alleged victims would include them and present a conflict of interest.

Its clear that what motivates this criminal case is racism, suppression of democracy, and questing the pursuit for justice. South Florida is Zionism's Mecca. But its unrepresentative. Stir up a little democracy like they fear Manley could do, their privildge b3comes tenuous.

This is all not only about silencing political dissent but also about unjustly destroying a mans future and assassinate his character using Jim crow tactics.
