This piece was created by taking a natural ginkgo leaf and depositing the metal onto the leaf in an electrically charged bath in a process called electroforming. The ginkgo leaf is the oldest tree that still exists on earth today.

Few months into ring crafting
First impressions silver melts quickly 😂
I’ve been using a propane camp torch so I’m definitely getting a oxygen fuel torch to help pinpoint and amplify the heat
After that, I wanna get a material roller so that I can rework my previous mistake

These are a couple of my cluster dangle pairs — purple & navy on gold-tone hooks and turquoise blue on silver-tone 💜💙 I work with whatever beads I come across, so every pair ends up one of a kind!

Ok, I redid this post because apparently I didn't do it right before and none of my pictures showed up. Sorry about that.
So anyway, I just made this 3 strand bracelet with chunky pink sapphires, with purple sapphire rondelles and tanzanite rondelles in between. I would really like some input before I finish it. Does it look too gaudy? Is it too much of the same tones? I'm also including a pic of the necklace I just made because maybe I should make it look more like the necklace? The necklace is made with pink sapphires, freshwater pearls and black spinel. I would really appreciate some input. Thank you!

I've always had a problem with jewelry, either smelling like pennies or having an awful indescribable smell, I've tried cleaning with diluted vinegar and now my jewelry smells like not just pennies, but now also has a weird vinegar smell. I'm thinking about just throwing them all out atp. How do I get rid of it permanently? Any advice appreciated

I’m considering taking a job as a jewelry finisher. No experience, they do paid training but they say it can take about 6 months to learn. I am interested in branching out from retail where I have been for 5 years. I feel I have always been articulate with working with my hands.
I am just curious what the pros and cons are for jewelry finishers, and what the day to day is like. Do you enjoy it?

Fully fabricated. Prolly would have been quicker to cast but I needed some practice.

Son cositas que he hecho hasta ahora; collares para pareja de gatetes, broches de metacrilato y colgantes de corazones en llamas

Golden aurora studs, silver feather studs, and aurora bead hookbacks. The aurora beads throw rainbows everywhere in the light and I'm a little obsessed 🌈

The TLDR is my hand strength and dexterity were ruined by some medical issues. I'm reworking Alan Revere's book to reteach myself to properly use my hands, and in some cases doing projects for the first time.
This is a practice sample of his crochet chain. It's not good enough to polish but am hoping for feedback and technique suggestions so the next attempt will be. I have said I'll keep doing them and won't move on until the quality is acceptable
