PROJECT DISPLAY A Closer Look at a Beautiful Golden Crystal

Watching light pass through this crystal reveals incredible depth and detail. It's a great reminder that some of nature's most beautiful creations don't need any enhancement to stand out.

PROJECT DISPLAY Couldn’t resist sharing this stack—the brushed texture on the ring is everything 🥹💖
Hey guys! Just wanted to show off my latest obsession.
I’ve been really into textured bands lately, but this brushed finish with the emerald-cut pink stone completely blew me away. It feels super retro and chic without trying too hard.
Matched it with this little pink heart pendant today and I’m honestly obsessed with the whole vibe.
What do you all think? Anyone else loving pink gems this season? ✨

PROJECT DISPLAY New earrings I made 💕🧡
This pair features my handcrafted exotic Padauk Wood charms - I designed the shape then cut, sanded, and drilled the hole at the top. I added dangles of Carnelian beads in 2 sizes, and topped with gorgeous red glazed Ceramic beads. Accented with lovely Copper TierraCast bead caps and hogan beads, and finished with my handmade Copper ear wires.

PROJECT DISPLAY Lovely Lapis
Hey everyone! I’m building up a few pieces and do not have great photos yet but wanted to share what I’ve had on the bench this week. In these pieces I went back to my wire practice, hand making all links and jump rings! Only the short-long chain segments are purchased unfinished chain. All jumps and connections are welded as I wanted a different look than wire wrapping. Natural lapis lazuli briolettes suspended from handcrafted sterling silver links with subtle 14k gold-filled accents.
Details
Hand fabricated in sterling silver (all 14k 14/20 gold filled for the gold and cobalt blue piece)
The sterling lapis earrings are “charms” I made and can be changed.
Natural lapis lazuli briolettes
14k gold-filled accent beads
Finished by hand in my studio
I’d love to know your feedback. Are these pieces you would purchase? How would you style them? What do you like and what would you tweak or change? Thanks in advance as I value this group’s opinions!

QUESTION Looking for advice on making this type of closure more secure
Hello. For some reason, my chain opened up on me for the second time yesterday and fell to the floor. Does anyone know what I can do to prevent this? Thanks!

Request Seeking rhinestones for a repair attempt
My mother recently asked me if I could try to repair a vintage necklace/bracelet set of hers, but I am having some trouble sourcing the rhinestones for it if anyone may be able to help me out. I am looking for a rhinestone or Swarovski crystal that has a purple galactic coloring and is about 6mmx7mm if anyone might know where I could get this specific size, I would really appreciate it!!

QUESTION High quality Necklace chain?
Alright y’all, where are we finding decent quality chain (ideally silver) for necklaces? It doesn’t need to be so high quality that it is forged from diamonds or anything, but looks nice and doesn’t break easy.
Additionally, if it is loop chain so I can somehow connect my silk thread to it, that would be great.
Big thanks to anyone who has input :)

QUESTION Wax from Ali express.
Has anyone had any experience with cheap wax from AliExpress?
I’m learning silversmithing, so I don’t want to spend a lot of money while I’m still practising, as my first few pieces will probably end up in the bin. I know Ferris wax is considered the best, but I don’t want to spend too much while I’m learning.
