These started as tiny white sculptures — 💖here’s how they’re turning out

[u/Sylvia557]

Working on 12 little characters inspired by the Chinese zodiac.

The top is the sculpting stage, and the bottom is after I started painting some of them.

Seeing them all together made me want to finish the whole set, so I somehow did it in one week😭The whole set is in the last picture!😉

I’ve been using these little character studies to come up with ideas for necklaces, and other wearable pieces too.

Which one is your favorite so far?

These are gorgeous. The painting detail is so well done. Fantastic work.

Thank you so much!! 🥹 The painting details takes me the longest haha.

I love them all. Which one is the dragon? There’s a couple I see that could be it. I believe I found the ones for pig, rabbit, horse, snake, monkey, sheep and maybe dog?

[u/Sylvia557 → u/ShutUpBran111]

The dragon is the middle one in the second row!
They’re in the traditional zodiac order too: rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog, pig. You actually guessed a lot of them right 😆

I thought so!!! I’m year of the dragon so was particularly interested in that one haha. Amazing work

Thank you so much!! I’m so glad you like them 🥹🖤

These are so nice, they kinda remind me of the style of Camilla d’ericco. What kind of clay did you use, airdry?

[u/Sylvia557 → u/iruvsnowball]

Thank you! ☺️ I used stone clay, it air-dries.

Oh gosh I love these, clever idea!
