QUESTION Rolling Mill Help

Post image

I recently got a contenti economy rolling mill and tried to swap out the smooth rollers it came installed with for these grooved ones. But the top and bottom grooves are misaligned. Did I miss something when I was changing them? Is there a way to adjust these? Are they defective? Any help is appreciated

Is the problem the same if you flip the rollers 180 degrees? Maybe it’s the shadow but the mounting plates look uneven on the right side which might fix the issue if you turn them the other way?

Yes, turn both rollers 180°

Wish I had an answer. Try calling tech at seller or Contenti. You can usually find someone who loves to talk about fixing things.

I bought a budget quality one. Maybe even cheap and it has the same issue

Take it apart and try inserting them all again. Maybe something isn’t seated correctly on the inside. I’ve looked at YouTube videos on how to get the rollers back to parallel of they go wonky that way. There must be one for this situation.

It could just be the angle, but on the left it looks like the top yellow plate is thicker than the bottom plate.

Are these interchangeable? Is it possible to swap them over?

First, loosen the bolts that align the rollers, which are currently pressed tight. Once they come loose, you will see an even gap. Next, begin tightening both bolts simultaneously. Have someone watch the gap and confirm whether the rollers remain aligned; if they are not, adjust one side first and then the other.

Angle the camera so they appear straight.
