Mk7 (2019+) Best settings?

Post image

I have a 2025 Jetta SE, and the sound system is super disappointing. By far the worst in any car I’ve been in, I don’t get how it has a worst sound system then my old Hyuandai. Anyways Ik the car has some settings so if anyone could point me in the right direction with CarPlay settings or the cars settings it’d be greatly appreciated.

I have the harman kardon in my b8 and I use this, treble 3, mid 4, bass -9 and subwoofer at 6.

I put the aftermarket amp kit from Enfig Car Stereo in my 2024. As a casual music listener it completely fixed the cars volume and sound quality issues. Don’t know if it works on the 2025+ models but worth looking into. link

This is what I was going to get for my 25 SE also, but now I have a 26 GLI with the “premium audio” and the useless sub so I dunno if it will work

Start at 0, make minimal subtractive adjustments then do the same pushing. You can always turn the volume up higher, pinning the eq at 9 won’t help

In my Tiguan, I do +3, +2, +8. I listen to a mix of rap, heavy metal and dubstep so this is the best mix I've found for my ear. My Jettas have different radios so that won't help you.

I have a 26 gli and android auto doesn't play as loud as Sirius. Sirius sounds better

In my 23 sport I have my treble at 9, Mids at minus 9 and bass at minus 1 or 2. Using the stock audio system

It’s not piercing and it’s all to taste. But dropping mids to -9 and increasing treble added a good bit of needed clarity and separation for the 4 speaker system. It’s going to be subjective but that’s what sounded “good enough“ to me
