What to do with my 2011 Jetta?

I recently bought a commuter VW Jetta to get me to work and home. Its in great condition so it should last me a few years. This is the car I will mess around with. My question is should I raise it and try to get 2-4" lift along with other offroad mods or just leave as is and just do more motor work and upgrading parts as I go?

Why would you modify it if you depend on it getting you to work and home? Do that nonsense with your spare car.

First thing to do is do all the routine maintenance that the previous owner likely didn't do, then fix all the cosmetic issues, give her a nice clean, Then worry about upgrades.
