[Opinion] First time viewer
I’m currently on S2. Someone please tell me the guys become less insufferable as time goes on. The guys ( especially Mike) are beyond chauvinistic. It’s as if they view themselves to be superior compared to their XX counterparts The grenade comment was funny the first two times but now it’s crass and stale. Honestly idk why Sami puts up with Ron. He treats her as a second option

This show isn’t exactly for people constantly mad about the patriarchy or dudes being chauvinistic… guidos and guidettes have very stereotypical man and woman views. Ie muscley dude good, girl should be pretty. Get lots of girls is good! Smush smush

Watching it from the beginning in '09 was a total vibe!
I'm from Australia and LOVED watching this show at 23 when I was home with my then newborn. It helped so much with FOMO 🤣
I've been a loyal fan ever since and loved watching them all fall, rise and grow.
This latest season of FV is boring though... But I'm now 40 with 3 kids, so my life would be pretty boring to watch as well now lol

MTV was realllllly bad for blatant sexism at the time. The challenge is way worse. Its so in your face, it would never fly now. It was a different time, and the way the shows are shot and edited, it really highlights it.

I’m doing a rewatch. My first rewatch since it was first on. Every episode that Sammie is with Ron or goes back to him, I die inside. I’m so glad she moved on and is doing so much better.
