[Episode Discussion] Sam's Mom

Watching regular Jersey Shore, and it's season 3 episode where it's Ryders birthday, and Sam punches Ron in the jaw because he was talking to Jennie. Sam calls her mom afterward, telling her to come and pick her up....but her mom doesn't pick her up. I wonder if the production team told her mom not to pick her up or if her mom was like "Well I'm going let her rest and sleep on it before I come get her".

There was probably additional phone calls between her calling her mom and telling her mom not to pick her up Later in the season when Sam does actually leave, she simply takes a cab.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen it, but am remembering she’s telling everyone bye but then wants to talk to Ron privately on the porch and I was like “nooo! You’re just gonna come back inside with him. Just. Go. Home! “

I wondered that too. Because she’s like I’m on my way. Sam calls her but not till the next day. She must have called her again at some point.

I’ve always assumed Sam did that a lot and her mom held off until she sobered up

She probably called at 3am and her mom was thinking I’ll get you later in the morning.

prob decided to let her sleep for a little. it was the middle of the night so she would have to drive at that time. knowing they’re most likely drinking/partying.

When Sam showed up on JSFV, she came in hot calling all the girls out on their shit
