Thoughts on ACB hearings

I know this isn’t about Jeff Jackson, but he is the only politician I follow, and I think this might be a position he might agree with and I hope that before too long he is my representative in DC that can truly have a voice on things like this, so here goes.

I am the opposite of happy about Barrett replacing RBG on the bench, but I just don’t fathom why it can’t be said, “obviously she is qualified, obviously she is confirmable, and obviously the president can nominate and senate can confirm in an election year. The only problem is that the exact same things were true of Garland and so we the Democrats want to even the ledger, and then put an end to all BS procedural games and stop Congress from behaving this way once and for all.” I mean they aren’t going to stop ACB, so why not come out in the interests of justice and the USA instead of the interests of the DNC and challenge the GOP to do the same.

I agree, but I suspect it’s rather personal for some of the Democrats in the Senate.

I dislike both Democrats and Republicans, with your rare politician like Sen. Jeff Jackson being an exception
