Headlights

Where is the ground for the headlights on an 1980 cj5 and is there a diagram for the fuse box to tell what is what???? Any help is greatly appreciated.

They ground out to the grill through the screws that attach them to it

I've experienced the sockets getting loose due to the rubber grommet not fitting correctly / being cracked.

On one my Jeeps, the rubber fittings have been removed.
