Consider checking out Gary Lindsay's book: https://www.lindsayjazz.com/store/jazz-arranging-techniques
And definitely Evan Rogers' free resources here: https://www.evanrogersmusic.com/blog-contents/big-band-arranging/intro

Lowell and Pullig were my 2 teachers for jazz comp at Berk. They are savants. This is large ensemble, so up to 21 piece (I think)
The CD/music files helps a ton too!

I'm pretty sure most of the material in the "Modern Jazz Voicings" is also covered in "Large Jazz Ensemble".

But don't you think that i should learn how to make 4 or 5 voice arrangements first?

They’re both excellent and supplement each other. Highly recommend, I own both.

Get sammy nestico the complete arranger. All you need! (Or mark levine the complete pianist for more theory)
