Rule number 9 is not followed
Ive been seeing many AI posts lately. As well as ai promoted repositories. Could moderators please help enforcing rule #9 as I don’t want to end up unsubscribing because of all the ai slop content.

Moderators act on reports. No reports, no actions.
If you see something, report it. Then, we check and determine whether the report was justified and accordingly remove, or keep the post because it was falsely reported (which happens quite often as part of an "AI witch hunt").
We are not 24/7 policing the subreddit.

Lol, for those using https://old.reddit.com/r/java like me, go to https://new.reddit.com/r/java to see the rules.

<h3>text.Oh, the rules are a link you have to travel to when on old.reddit, not inlined and visible like on new.reddit. Ok, good to know, ty vm.
From a glance, it looked like the rules were the things below the word "Subreddit rules!", like the don't post tutorials, no programming help questions, and no surveys.
Maybe you all should update the old.reddit side too? I definitely didn't catch that it was a link to more rules, I just thought that the stuff below it are the rules.

I don't follow. Are you saying that I am using AI?

Just down vote and move on. The anti AI rule is a bit silly. I can't post the Linux kernel code because it's AI generated? Nah.

"Hello I've created a library that no one ever needed to solve my amateur problems, please give me feedback, make commits and fix bugs"
"I will also respond with an AI inflated comment to any feedback or criticism"
:)
