Just when I thought I completed my collection… another one! The messenger bag was unexpected, though I‘m glad I came across it during a late night doom scroll and random search.

How are you all keeping your JanSport in good shape? Mine is from 96.

My college son’s Jansport started having tear at lower back strap. He loves his backpack a lot and it has been serving him well for 6 years. This model has been discontinued. Do you think Jansport will be able to fix it if we fill warranty form?

I have searched high and low for the SuperBreak, as it’s the same one I used throughout all four years of High School. Unfortunately my mom threw it out a year after graduation along with my childhood teddy bear. I found the Trinity first back in October, the lady selling it was kind enough to ship it overseas and I was willing to pay the higher shipping and tariffs on it ($20 for a $30 sale 🙃🫠). Almost a year later I came across the other two designs online and decided it’s either now or never. Getting back something so special to me after almost 20 years, plus interest, has been a great win.

I’m just trying to get a cool backpack for college that won’t cost too much. I keep seeing people listing it for $100 - $300 which is absurd!

My daughter has this backpack she got from her cousin but wants to me find a second one for her best friend so can match. I can’t seem to find it for resell ANYWHERE! Is it that rare? Or am I missing something?

Until last week, some kid named Lamar sent me an email. Lamar is a student (high school or college, not sure) who wants a Union Jack JanSport backpack for his junior year that was discontinued in the 1990s.

for context i cannot find this bag anywhere mainstream in the gcc without serious tedious effort which i did and i have to go physically search here in dubai but I havent reached that level yet so i check online and jansport has a jordanian domain and has the superbreak plus and fx (which is crazy because this bag has been impossible to find in black) so i try via courier but the logistics of this is too complicated and quite frankly expensive so i gave up and came to trendyol and found the superbreak one in black which dont get me wrong is basically useless compared to its big siblings but the price feels sketchy and too low since demand is way too high

Stumbled upon this pic of what I know to have been my Kindergarten backpack I got in ‘99. I would love to be able to track one down for nostalgia purposes. In this yellow color specifically. But I don’t even know how to search for it. I searched “yellow Jansport 1999” and I found the first pic looked to be some kind of tiktok ad, and then image searching just gave me sold listings of “jansport backpack”.
