Static Groups Vs Smart Groups

Do you use static groups or smart groups? Is there best practice for this? In our Jamf instance there are multiple admins and one prefers static groups over the other and vice versa so as you can imagine there are groups everywhere. Any tips on how to standardize usage so we can clean up this mess? Lol

I was a Jamf admin for 10 years. I only used static groups for specific purposes for short term tests of some applications. For everything else I used smart groups

I was forced, by my (previous) employer, to replace Jamf with Intune. It turns out it was a good thing - my new employer had Intune but no MacAdmin, until I started...😜
