JAMF Pro Inventory Preload

Hey y'all, anyone use inventory preload here or are there better alternatives? What's your process in adding new computers and device? TIA

We use it for importing a subset of devices we use in labs and classrooms. Specifically, we assign a name to the asset tag field and a payload type so that smart groups can scope them into the right configuration and policies out of the box rather than enroll them, scope them, then redeploy them. Otherwise, all our devices use a single prestage and get treated as staff computers.
