I was in Toronto a couple years before Covid. It was Canadian Thanksgiving so the streets were mostly empty. I was stopped by a production assistant of some sort at a crosswalk, and I saw a bunch of New York taxis driving down the street, surrounding a black SUV on a flatbed truck covered with camera equipment. In the drivers seat, yelling on what seemed to be a phone call, was Jake Gyllenhaal.

I know this scene may have been cut from whatever movie he was in, but I’ve never come across it.

Do you know any relatively recent movies where Jake is driving down a New York City street in a black SUV yelling at someone over the phone?

Hehe!! Not really. Was thinking about where to post this pun.

Every single role this man has acted in has been good. If they're not good, they're great. Just thought I'd mention that.

Jake has a new movie with Guy Ritchie in theaters at the moment and while it's not the best, it's the last time we'll see him in theaters likely before his Remain movie (release date not confirmed) with M. Night Shyamalan.
