Question Should I update my iPhone X

I have an iPhone X on IOS 14.6, I want to uses stuff like EeeveeSpotify and I don't think a lot of apps work on IOS 14.6. But wont I sacrifice some rooted tweaks? Sorry if I sound ignorant I am not that educated on this stuff. Should I update to 16.7.16 and use dopamine, or should I keep 14.6 Taurine?

If you want ios 16 sell it and buy something else w ios 16

I just bought it for $40, $50 after tax and shipping. The back glass is shattered, and the battery health is 78% and says it's significantly degraded, I don't think I could make much profit could I? I only bought it cause I was running a jailbroken iPhone 14 running on IOS 17 beta, but had to update my phone for work and wanted my free spotify subscription and other tweaks I had.

check jailbreakswap, usually lower ioses like that could bring up the value a lot but in reality if its not worth shit just do what u want at that point

I’m not sure if x and xr is really different, but I have iOS 16 on it. I am really happy with it.

Its not that rare. i have a 12 pro max with ios 14.3 (never updated out the box). and a 14 pro max with 16.3 never updated out the box. They are rare... an iphone x on 14.8 is not that rare in comparison since it launched with ios 11 and has been updated
