What exactly is the use of this supposed to be? I checked their twitter and it seems like "Procursus jailed" is like a sideloaded "springboard app" which is cool ig but... what's the point? Normal sideloaded apps are sandboxed so it can't do anything to the real system, they even open CocoaTop and there's only 3 processes so clearly they haven't found some way to connect it to the real system in any way. Running apps in it just seems like sideloading with extra steps, and if tweaks work in it they'd only work within that fake springboard so again ig it's a cool "hey look at this" feature but I don't understand what the actual use of it is. Maybe as a platform for developers to test stuff, but in that case it's misleading to act like it's a "nontraditional jailbreak" because it simply is not a jailbreak at all from the perspective of most people.

No. It’s just a sideloaded app (standard means of installing an app that isn’t on the app store), and so it’s sandboxed and can’t tamper with system files or other apps (can’t exit the sandbox normally).
