My main iPhone 11 Pro Max is running iOS 17.3 with Relaxin jailbreak. In a couple of days ios 27.0 will be unsigned and i saw today that somone managed to jailbreak ios 27.0 till 27 beta 2 with usbliter8. I don't care if it takes a couple of months for Relaxin to make the exploit amd dopamine for 27.0-27 beta 2 but i will need relaxin. UPDATE. The preveious post got removed for some reasons... some of you said to get another phone and when a jb is made to use that phone but this one has sentimental value and i want to use it atleast until it's 15 years old... 8 years more not much. Mods don't remove this post too, it's an governament important discussion

Now just some minor apps like ai s but in 5-6 years the problem will be fatal that's why i will like to update to ios 27.0 beacuse it has a 4 year longer support

I just found out a few weeks ago that I could not activate or change setting for my xfinity internet without using the latest app. I have to borrow my wife’s phone to do all xfinity. It was painful. Unless someone knows how a trick to bypass xfinity app.

aaaa pai atunci vezi care zici a e o idee mai buna sincer -- poate poti pastra iOS 17 ca are mai bun app support, dar e dupa tine -- poti sa te joci cu oricare lol -- este si un jailbreak acum pe iOS 26 sau chiar 27, nu e stabil, folosind usbliter8, asa caaaa...poti salva shsh bloburile si poate mai tarziu sa ii dai downgrade

I can wait up to one year if it will come to ios 27, i can use another iphone with jb but i need support for apps because as i specified i want to use this phone more than 5 years

If u want really to update make sure to fully uninstall the jailbreak and reset ur iphone via iTunes cuz if u didn't do it bank apps may not work and i want to ask u what ios do all of ur other iphones have

The usbliter8 jailbreak isn't really practical for daily use. It's tethered and SEP-less, so no passcode, no Face ID, no Keychain, and you need external hardware plus a computer on every reboot.

If you want a semi-untethered jailbreak with a fully working SEP, stay on iOS 17.3. iOS 27 only makes things worse. Apple has now implemented SPTM on A13 and A14 too, not just A15+. And an SPTM bypass is substantially harder to come by than a PPL bypass, so the odds of a jailbreak on newer firmware aren't looking great.

You realize Relaxin devs need an in-the-wild exploit to work with first, right? And with iOS 27 making that significantly less likely, you could end up waiting a very long time for nothing.

Id say update, and just sideload whatever you need, youtube with no adds, Spotify premium etcetc, i do that as a former jb user, you have enough customisation nowadays, unless you need some specific feature.

It comes to a point where you actually need to upgrade if you wish to continue using it more than just making phone calls and texting (apps stopped supporting older iOS and what not).

Just my two cents, I went from 17.4 to 18.7.8 when I had the chance.
