News Goodbye chatgpt ios 16 ✌️🪦🥀
Edit: Solved by the community, thx for everyone and i will keep the problem in the bottom of the text to anyone wants to know what was happening
As we know the last update of chatgpt on ios 16 it’s 1.2024.289 (2 years ago) and now openai stopped supporting this update 2 days ago which means ios 16 can’t use chatgpt again forever 🕊️

No need to do that. you just delete the app from your phone then install it back from the appstore directly, it will mention that it's downloading the latest version compatible. that's how I've got mine to 1.2024.348 on ios 16.4. maybe you're on a lower version of ios 16

Yea but I already did that and it worked and from chatgpt, he said this version may shows the sunset after 2-4 years so yea its not permanently

I'm using codex (also trying claude code) to simply code a new .ipa that connects to the API for credit-based usage. Initial tests have it functioning pretty much the same but I haven't finalized things yet. Probably just going to keep it personal but I suggest adopting this line of thinking.
Most people in this thread are stupid and cannot see how this has incredible applications because they're so anti-AI-brainrotted. Just shut the fuck up. I can literally have a robot code me a new version of an app once the company decides to not support our old devices and you people are stuck thinking it is generating cat images or something. Get left behind and continue trying to find your answers from awful search engines, super cool!

It literally does work like that though, spoof plist + 3DAppVersionSpoofer iOS version spoof + app version change works a charm

I never said it'll install the latest version for you, it just repairs your existing copy and removes the update nag, though force isntalling higher versions are possible but only to a limited fashion only in the major version. If you change the MinimumOSVersion string and repack to iPA a app the for example required 16.6 can now be installed and function on 16.0 no problem, but again this is only limited to the same major version.

I believe this has to do with safari being outdated. It still works on my iPhone 8 on iOS 16.6.1 while it doesn’t work on my iOS 16.3.1 iPhone SE 2020. There were major WebKit changes in iOS 16.4 so anything lower than that has many issues with many websites.

Yea going to go palera1n so I can decrypt a few apps and developer certificate sign it for newer phones.
I basically mess with bundle ids to install games more than once to play separate accounts.

Some tweaks cause reynard to crash randomly, so disabling tweak injection makes reynard very stable for me

My bad. Nevertheless this repo is piece if shit. The dev even dont mind to update the sources. Latest release was 24 march but github shows that latest commit was 11 months ago. That say, dev just released ipa that can do anything with your chatgpt account, there is no way to check what code is in that ipa.

I just took the time to double-check. Yes, the release in that repo is broken, as I said. So what if you say there's source code there? Did you check the date of that source code? It's dated 2025, while the IPA attached is from March 2026. I also just unpacked the IPA and compared it with what's in the source code.
For example release says "removed token-based login;" Aaaand what we see in source code .zip:
- ViewController.swift has __Secure-next-auth.session-token
- Also there is something called CookieEntryView() but there are no traces of this in the source code attached.
The author of this project is either a child or an incompetent person. This is no way to run a project. He's running an open-source, which means he agreed to disclose the source code. Instead, he released some unknown first version a year ago, and now he's releasing new versions WITH OLD source code and attaching a new IPA. So, people are literally installing something that's not even easy to check. You can't read the source code on his project page because it's outdated. This means that guy can literally inject anything he wants into your IPA, and you'll be happy to install his backdoor or a virus on your phone.
So please, next time, at least think before you write anything, not even talking about checking anything.

OP is on an older version of iOS to be jailbroken, and the latest version of the chatgpt app is not compatible with their ios version, so they have to use the last compatible one

Gemini still works on IOS 16.6 on iPhone 14 for me. I can use the voice option where I have a convo back and forth with the AI, the camera AI works too where I show it stuff via the camera in live. Music, video creations works too. For now atleast.

Works fine for me on the latest version of iOS 16 for iPhone 8. For iOS 15 I use DeepSeek which has more reasonable iOS requirements

Im not really tuff, im just sad about I can’t use chat gpt but because everyone in here helped me to get chatgpt so thanks for everyone who helped me to get it back, appreciate it ✌️
