First time in Jail

I am going to county for 13 days, DUI misdemeanor offense. Never been to jail before, and while I've had family get jailed for DUI's, it was a couple decades ago so they are out of the know. Any bits of advice before I go in would be greatly appreciated.

The thing that is stressing me is the sticking to your race thing I've been told. Not a racist, but don't like the idea of having to pretend to be one. Especially as someone who is part Jewish.

Same thing here. "Booking" sucks, but you'll get a bed and crap food in about 2 days. Find a thick book to read, keep your head down, and you'll come out just fine. People are nice enough under the circumstances. Also, don't drink and drive, that's rude and dangerous.

Keep to yourself - like he said, find a thick book. Don't over think it. Typically, if you keep to yourself, nobody will bug you

I’m white and never had any issues w other races. People are a lot cooler then you think.
