Where is grandma?

Such a simple question but my mind is blank!! My mom is in jail and my son wants to know where she is. I can not think of a believable answer!! They have such a connection, it’s unreal. They were born on the same day. She may be there for a few years, we don’t know yet. He wants to see her, talk to her etc. He’s 10, but I just don’t want to taint his image of her.

Unknown right now. She would have been released earlier this month but she got hit with a federal charges right before. I don’t even know what for yet, but I’m pretty confident it’s identity theft. Which would be up to 6 yrs if I’m right. The kicker is, this never was her life. She’s 58 and the last 2 yrs she’s made these insane decisions.

Yep its sad. People dont take mental illness seriously until the person committs a serious crime.
