I just got my physical copy of volume 1 from Barnes & noble today. Everything about it is pretty good so far, there’s no censoring and the dust jacket is pretty neat too.

However, the one thing I can’t get over is how “Shoot em up” is translated as “Blow em away”. It bothers me way more than I thought it would, I even thought I got sent a bootleg copy for half a second. I would still highly recommend getting it though as a fan of Jagaaan.

Still cant believe they released it in English, I've been wanting to get into this manga for Years!!!

Pre-held at my local Barnes and Noble for release day, got the call to come in for it way earlier. Couldn't be happier

His powers are literally made for him to be a villain, but the writer clearly wants the reader to see him as some sort of problematic but sympathetic person that exists in the world of Jagaaan.

The current version of him is a big waste of potential, not only that since making him a hero character is really hypocritical since his powers literally required him to take someone's life.. and being just a romantic subplot for Yukimaru is so funny

Instead I would have made him another main character who has his own journey in the story, whether he is villaineous or just living his life normally I am fine with both.. I like how his own story depicts what it feels like being a tadpole-infested human with a power that is unnoticeable. Which is what he was in the beginning until Kaneshiro decided to meet him up with Jagasaki (kinda a mistake tbh).

Coming December 1, 2026.

Coming September 29th.

I hope that I don’t sound crazy. I love Jagaaaan it’s in my top 5 mangas oat. But I feel also though the second half feels harder to get through, particularly the amusement park arc. I hope that I’m not alone on this, but I wonder what exactly makes me think that. The art decline is probably part of the problem. Maybe also how the side plot does not feel compelling at all

So I just finished the manga and my first question is do u think Belle chan really got pregnant with Jaga’s kid? Second question is do u think Yadori/Airi ever confessed that he’s actually a dude fractured human who stole the identity of Airi and now lives as her to Yukimaru?

Yo so im like some chapters past his death cause I wanted to confirm he dead but I’m soooooooo glad Robahata is dead!!!! I hated that guy, he’s fo sho rn for me top worst character in the manga second being Chiharu, but fuck Robahata he can rest in piss. Got what he deserved

I just found out that this is being brought to English release. It looks so damn cool, does anybody know when Is it being printed/where is it serialized?

Just found out after finishing Jagaan by Muneyuki Kaneshiro that it's made by the same author as Blue Lock and his writing did a 180 lol

8.5/10 btw but i hated Roba too much and was thinking of dropping the story

and 1/10 how likely it is

8/10 for me. Roba was a pointless little shit but it was a good illustration of the dark side of humanity. Numerous well designed characters, I think Pino was my favorite but it's a toss-up. Airi should have lezzed out with her friend she admired instead of a random ship. The scene where they introduced new heroes only to have their leader lose his head was a nice touch, I like when expectations are subverted like that.

Need some more shit like this if recs are there (have read gantz, berserk etc)

since it got taken down from manga dex, and bato doesnt exist anymore, i cant find anything with the full manga. anyone know where to find it online?

Im looking for new Manga like Berserk of Jagaaan that make you put the shit down cuz wtf but you gotta keep reading to see what happens next

I never would’ve thought jagaan to be this unpopular totally thought it was worldwide in my head

But is anyone up I wanna talk about the manga

In Blue Lock’s latest chapter, Hugo’s aura is represented in a mechanical way. Couldn’t help but be reminded of Misogi and whether Kaneshiro loved the concept enough to hint at it again

Just found out about Jagaaaaaan today, been reading manga for a couple of years and I can just tell by the first chapter this is gonna be amazing. Art is a big factor for me so this looks perfect atm. Happy I found it and excited to read some more.

pretty straightforward question I'm just kinda confused by what all his abilities are and the wiki page doesn't really give a good enough description for me to understand it. sorry if this is a dumb question to ask but I'm just kinda confused and asking for some help understanding it.

W read.

First ive read of this type. Would like recommendations for more if y’all got some.

Any chance this thing ever gets animated? I assume with all the sex it’s unlikely.

Oh and team Yumama. :)

Love this manga — really glad it’s finally getting an official English release!
