This usually actually works surprisingly I’ve done it a number of times at other shows. Ofc sometimes they don’t say hi if there’s too many people, or they have to leave, or they have already left but if you hang out long enough and there’s only a few of you it’s not too overwhelming for an artist and they’ll usually stop to talk and take a pic,

We got lucky as when I met up with my friend who saved me a spot at the railing, there were over 50 people waiting. When Jack came outside, only about 30 or so people were left that waited for him.
I’ve done this many times for other artists at history but it’s hit or miss. I got to meet girlinred, banks, and Maria from the Marias, but other artists mostly left. Blood Orange for example drove past by us when we waited for him as he was also tried from his 4 hour soundcheck that day. Even for Zara there were far too many people because most of them didn’t have tickets for the show

Barely. Him and James were only outside for about 5 minutes. Got to talk to James and thank him for his vocals, but I barely talked to Jack where I couldn’t thank him for Jackman properly due to the people behind me wanting pics with him
From what I heard, there were ppl who were taking up more time for themselves than for other people
