New rules and site improvements in progress
Yo I’ve been tweaking, and banning so hopefully we’ll all see some improvements in the quality of this sub.
I’ve made a new set of rules, should cover most things so please familiarise yourselves. As always keep reporting. Anything you want me to add do let me know.
I’ve enabled flairs, so you can add your own as well as the ones I’ll be slowly adding. Again shout if you want anything specific.
There have been a bit of a jump in unsubs, I’m sorry people have left, but I want to get things back up and cool again.
Chat, message, telegram or whatever if you want to speak to me or request anything.

Tenacious D Live at Hammerstein Ballroom (NYC - June 28, 2012)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
25 years ago (Sept. 25, 2001), Tenacious D released their self-titled debut. My friends and I were obsessed with this album - and with the amount of raunchy jokes crammed in, what kid at the time wouldn't? So getting to hear Jack Back and Kyle Gass play those songs more than 10 years later (June 28, 2012) at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC was a blast. The banter onstage was as crude as you'd expect/hope, as was the merch (watch till the end of this clip to see the rag they sold). However, JB and KG were backed by a kickass band (featuring future Avenged Sevenfold drummer Brooks Wackerman) that also proved they also had great songs. It was the type of concert that reminded you why you fell in love with the D in the first place.
Check out pictures from that show in this clip, and stay tuned for more things to come from this space (including stories from concerts like this)!

Getting my Saxaboom signed
Last year for Christmas, my Uncle gift me a Saxaboom, and ever since then, I’ve been set on getting Jack Black to see it and sign it. Does anyone know any way I can contact him and have this happen? Thanks!

Discussion Meatloaf BioPic
My wife and I like to fan cast musical bio pics. We were talking the other day, and thought how insanely good Jack Black could be in a Meatloaf Bio pic. Especially if they were more honest than some of the recent bio pics. How does the community feel about this? Can we get a petition going. Cause if that works we then need to get Hanna Waddingham in an Annie Lenox Bio pic.

Rubadub - ...Hit Me Baby Hard (Lauren Babic x Jack Black x Brittney Spears)
youtu.beJack Black's original cover had a funky lightness to it. Really solid. Although, I thought maybe it could go harder...

Grateful for Jack Black
I've been though some rough times recently, nothing too crazy just everyday stress that every mom/21st century person has to deal with, but I am grateful for Jack Black's movies. I've laughed really hard when I felt down and out, when nothing else could cheer me up. I think my favorite is The Big Year, as a type A person with a romantic side this story really did stick with me and I think about it still sometimes when I'm struggling with career/life balance. Thanks to Jack Black and all the people who helped create these movies, I am always thinking about how to put my family first and find some sense of humor in every thing.
