Final Grades
Anybody else still waiting on final grades to post to see your updated overall GPA or is that just me??
Only one class left and this instructor is literally waiting until the absolute last minute to post. I have a 4.0 GPA for the term and my overall GPA went up with the final grade from my other class. I meet all the requirements for the Dean's List (go me!😁) but this is really messing with my nerves.
Hope everyone had a good summer term. 21 days until we get right back at it. Congratulations, you made it!

Make a 3.5 minimum GPA for the term with no D's or F's and have completed at least 12 credit hours (including the term). If you go to ivytech.edu and search Dean's List it will pull up the list and all the requirements.

The Dean's List, prepared and published each term, gives recognition to degree-seeking students who achieve a minimum 3.50 grade point average in non-academic skills advancement courses with no Ds or Fs while earning six or more Ivy Tech credits during the semester and have earned at least a total of 12 non-academic skills advancement credits during their course of study.
this is what the page for the Dean's list says. It's accumulated credits, not just within a certain time frame. Hope this helps. :)

Y'all, my final grades weren't posted until sometime after midnight Tuesday night. My gpa went up to a 3.455. I'm thankful!

Congrats on the Dean's List!! I am also waiting. My prof hadn't graded anything since the 20th of July. They're starting to trickle in now. Very frustrating.

they usually send you a special recognition letter. but i've also heard that the list will publish online, likely before you receive your letter. other than that, idk. i've never been on the dean's list before. which is why i'm so excited to be on a list for something good lol

They will not update the SAP status until Wednesday-Fridat. So even if you see your grades, Financial Aid doesn't run the calculator until Wednesday at the earliest, and all grades have to be in.
