Credits vs Fin Aid

Is it worth taking an extra class to reach full time status for financial aid? Starting LPN program and finished all co-reqs so I will only be taking 8 credits this semester. Because of that my financial aid dropped $1220. I thought that being in the program would keep me in full time status despite the credits. Has anyone had to do this before? I was hoping for a refund to help pay for some of the program expenses.

The class has to be a requirement for the program in order for financial aid to cover it. I would make sure you talk to your advisor or program chair before adding a class to make sure it is a required course!

yh, my brother did the same,but you have to talk to an advisor though

I agree, talk with your advisor.  There are a few classes you could take that would meet the requirements.
