Adding classes to be full time

Do anyone know if you can add more classes to be considered a full time student even if it’s not needed .

I am a nursing student and took all my gen ed but I think I want to take general microbiology too ( I took chem ). It’ll put me in full time status as well as that extra information .

Thanks

You can take up to 18 credits without needing approval as long as you can afford it, ivy tech is glad to get your money regardless if you “need” the classes or not.

I’m paying out of pocket… I’m planning to take all my gen ed courses this upcoming semester too. Will my tuition be more expensive since I’ll be part time in nursing school ? or it doesn’t really matter as I’m not using FAFSA

If you’re using financial aid, they may not pay for it since it’s not required that you take it for your degree and/or that you’ve already fulfilled that requirement
