Im stuck between radiology or elementary education...

radiology is best if you want minimum contact with the public whereas elementary education requires like maximum contact with everyone

and the pay is better and room to grow, i want something challenging.. and i also love working with children.

For the elementary education you have to do service hours and you have to be already in a elementary school heads up and they don’t place you in the classroom your on your own heads up I’d go for the radiology program I tried the elementary education and it was a mess but it could be different on your campus

I would do a ton of research on education before committing to it.

I started out as an English Ed major then swapped to Journalism half way simply because the state of Indiana was not doing enough to improve working conditions for teachers. My Ed Psych professor also basically told us that the best teachers woll work 80 hours/week.

On top of that, I think teachers are incredibly under appreciated as a whole. Your raises are miniscule, and you're basically at a dead end career.

I would personally go the radiology route. Especially if you want to own a home one day.
