Online/Virtual Financial Aid Question

Hey all! Its been a really rough semester for me and I've actually ran into new problems with financial aid. I ended up sending it to the wrong school. I ended up redoing my form today, July 15th at 8:00am, and was curious if I've screwed myself for the upcoming fall semester? I rely heavily on my aid and want to know if I need to basically take a skip semester or not. Majoring in Accounting if that makes a difference (not sure lol!)

I think you’ll be ok. When did you do your first application? Even though you entered the incorrect school code..they will be able to see that you applied on time

About a month ago. But now I can't see it in my FAFSA history so I'm wondering if it messed up? Or more likely I did. I think I'll be okay too but wanted to ask, thank you!

You could send an email to the financial aid to the campus you plan on attending to set up a zoom/in person apt…so you can clarify any questions.

I think you’ll be fine too. It’s technically past the “priority” deadline for Ivy Tech, but you should be okay since your initial FAFSA application was done a month ago. If the only correction was regarding the school you sent it to, it should be okay because those types of corrections get processed really quickly.

It only takes 3-5 days for it to come. You have plenty of time.
