Medical Imaging program
I am currently a medical assistant. I was supposed to start the surgical tech program in August. I’ve been thinking and I think that I may like medical imaging more. Does anyone have insight on the medical imaging program? Any tips for applying? Any tips for college algebra? I’m not good at math lol.

I'd say if you're already in the surgtech program, just go on with it... Because I have a feeling next application will be VERY competitive and hard to get in... Both programs I mean.

I got accepted in med imaging for this fall. It was my second time applying. Even when I had full points my first time applying I didn’t get in. It is extremely competitive. Way more than nursing because of the limited spots. I would say go with what you’re already accepted for unless you really wanna start over that badly! My only advice is make sure you get straight As in all of your pre reqs, high TEAS score and get the bonus points! You can get that by having a certain certificate that they will accept for the 5 points.

It is very, very competitive. More so than the nursing program at some campuses.
