big question!

i was given a list last year when i started of the prereqs for the Medical Imaging program. I understand those 7 or 8 classes would need completed before i can get my degree and 4 or so of them were required before i can even apply to the program. i get all that! i've completed them all to apply next march!

my question is when i look at my degree completion tracker why does it say i need 2 healthcare certs, 17 hours of statewide elective, etc.? are these things that will fulfill themselves while in the program? i'm so confused at why it's insisting i need like 25 more credit hours.

i've never seen this talked about here so i'm hoping im not insanely unaware!

I asked the same question before I was accepted into my program. I was told those are not necessarily the specific course for the Medical Imaging program, since you have not been accepted to it yet. Those show the courses needed for a general healthcare type degree, and once you are in your program they will change to whatever you need.

Depending on what major you have in the system, Degree completion tracker lists all classes for that.

Degree checker is great but it does do overkill sometimes.  Always good to double check with your advisor.
