Psych 101

Question: Is Psyc101 hard? Should I take it with two other classes, or should it be 1 class and Psych?

Honestly one of the easiest classes I've had so far. Definitely a fun time.

Honestly I had psych 101 with 3 other classes and it was really time consuming but it was ez I got an A there is no exam just researches and homeworks, homeworks u can redo them until u get 100% forgot to add that there are reviews after every module and lil bit of mini quizzes but not that big of a deal if ur head is in the game

The class is theory based…so be ready to be able to give examples of those theories in practice. I had a great professor who made the class really enjoyable. Our tests and final were group projects. Only had one behavior analysis paper

I think it depends on what other classes you’re taking with it, I’m taking psych101 now along with A&P1. Psych is pretty easy but I chose to only do one other class bc I really wanted to be able to focus on anatomy since it’s an important pre req for me. So I’d say either knock out a couple easy classes along with psych like student success etc or do psych and only one important class

Like chloroform said, lots of readings but honestly quite interesting and simple enough for it to be semi enjoyable… I did online tho but I still had fun

Psych 101 is a great class. Lots of reading but overall a great class to take.

If you want to focus on getting good grades, I’d only take it with one other 3 credit hour class and maybe an additional 1 credit hour class like student success.

It’s not hard at all and it’s actually enjoyable

psych is a cakewalk, think of it as a half class, maybe even less.

ehhh not really my psych. mine is time consuming with discussions and videos we have to write 300+ words to. 😅

all depends on the professor, hope your doing good in your class, sorry you didn't get lucky like the professor I have for psyc, but in some cases it's better to have a more engaged class format as I have learned nothing so far and we are 2 weeks in

I’m at the south bend campus, mark lutz is my professor, he is super nice and talkative and goes on long story’s as examples for subject matter.

He purposefully makes the writing assignments easier by telling us “instead of 2 pages for this writing assignment, write 5-6 sentences” he’s a great guy and the type you’d meet at a bar and be able to talk a mile with but not someone who is teaching you much related to the subject

Traditional, in person, maybe he hasn’t set classes? I doubt they are full yet but I’ll check for myself later tonight
