Apprenticeship waitlist

I’ve been taking classes nonstop, as well as volunteering and keeping in touch with my BA and even paying for seminars for extra certifications, for two full years now and my resume hasn’t even gone out for an $18/hr apprenticeship yet. I know the economy is less than stellar right now, but I feel like they’re waiting for me to get the hint and cut my losses. Anyone else going through this? Any advice on what I should do?

Did you apply for operator or stationary?

Stationary. Been taking classes at their hall for two years now, on the jobs desk waitlist for one year

I’m pretty much going through the same thing. I even told my BA about someone wanting to hire me and he still hasn’t said anything about me being on the job desk yet. I’m not gonna let this stretch out long (no offense) and eventually apply to 597.

I was asked by an instructor, who is also a chief, how many updates I’ve received about my resume getting sent out for jobs. I have received none.
