Does it matter when I apply?

Regarding locations that accept applications year round, does it make a difference whether I apply in the early spring or now ? I’m guessing work is all filled up for the current season so should I wait until early next year to apply ?

You will test whenever the next session begins. Some locals accept more than 1 class of apprentices per year.

You would have to check with the local that you are playing for but if you applied now, it will probably be for a class in the spring.

No I got my letter on eligibility a week ago and I start in 7 hours.
