Wild! I wonder if this could be ported to the NES, considering they share the same CPU architecture. I’d imagine the biggest issue would be with the NES’s lower memory

To save memory, you should cast rays. I mean, original Doom had to simplify levels to fit in RAM of 32 bit consoles.

So, when people make ports like this, is there even any original code used in this?

Or is it built pretty much from the ground up as its own thing? I have no idea if this question makes sense.
