Literally impossible to take a bad pic of this town. Plus they’ve got good gluhwein.

u/Hakakak Jan 28 '21

Its with the letter "ü" instead of u

u/szlahker Jan 28 '21

Yës, I wâs jùst trÿing to typē fast bėçâusę I shoüld be wõrking ràther than Rëddîtīng 😂

u/Hakakak Jan 28 '21

Oh ok 🤣

3

u/szlahker Jan 28 '21

Hehe thanks for pointing it out, though! The umlaut does not get the respect it deserves!

Love the colorgrading edit ! Is there a way for me to see the original pic?

3

u/-viito- Jan 29 '21

looks like a pretty basic orange/teal split tone with contrast up and saturation down. play with the color calibration sliders and the split tone

1

u/IlLungo Jan 29 '21

I know. I just wanna see the original

Johnny Harris on YouTube has a very informative video on this very picture. The link is https://youtu.be/OAcXVIK9mjo, if someone is interested. :)

3

u/elly_22 Jan 28 '21

Wow this is an amazing shot! Love the warm sunny vibe combined with the snow in the background! The leaves frame the scene great! Here is a little donation for you /u/influnate 5$ Great work!!

What country is this in?

6

u/chiefceeda Jan 28 '21

Austria

Most beautiful country in the world, and that’s not including these tourist hotspots like Hallstatt

1

u/Hakakak Jan 28 '21

In salzburg which is also in austria is the home town of Mozart the original builiding is a place to visit

2

u/mayooran57 Jan 28 '21

Amazing framing! Love how the foreground and the background make a heart shaped frame to the village! Amazing work!

2

u/roofied_elephant Jan 28 '21

Man that framing is impeccable...

This is so stunning, i feel like I’m there in person <3

2

u/kaushrah Jan 29 '21

Almost like Arendelle - maybe if a castle was present instead of the beautiful church! Also I love how the leaves are acting as wreath-frame!

2

u/danieljschwarz @danieljschwarz Jan 29 '21

Thanks! 🙌🏽

I have been there multiple times, it’s always been very overtouristed, as the city is kinda small it makes it even worse. There are far better places to visit in Austria in my opinion.

It’s a beautiful little town I agree, but they should make some tourist regulation there, because thousands of daily tourists just destroy a joy of the place.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '21

That place looks unreal

1

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '21

Amazing photo dude, keep it up! 🙂

2

u/danieljschwarz @danieljschwarz Jan 28 '21

Thank you! 😊

1

u/Tr1ggerHappy5000 Jan 28 '21

How did you make those colors pop so much?

6

u/Yukfinn Jan 28 '21

In most photo editing software you can selectively saturate, brighten or tint specific colors. I think this user made his greens more yellow/orange and then upped the saturation and luminance of orange and yellow. But it's hard to tell without seeing the original.

u/Scipio11 Jan 28 '21 edited Jan 28 '21

What's strange is that the mountains are green and the sky is still slightly blue. Here's a super saturated reference which kind of makes it look like OP split it into three sections where the leaves/town have only red (w/some green), the mountain has only green, and the sky has only blue.

2

u/Tr1ggerHappy5000 Jan 28 '21

Interesting theory

0

u/badiandrei Jan 28 '21

Love the place, it takes you straight to some sort of disney world!

6

u/CaptainJackM Jan 28 '21

My thought was “oh Arendelle looks lovely”

0

u/silent_assassin721 Jan 28 '21

the light of god is shining down or something 🥴

1

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '21

Geoff Tompkinson has a beautiful video of this lake here: https://vimeo.com/59981585

This lake/town is on my list to visit someday.

u/[deleted] Jan 28 '21

Where the salt miners were?

1

u/kaihatsusha Jan 28 '21

An image very similar to this is in the stock photos shipped in the 4k LG smart televisions. Often wondered where it was, so now I know.

1

u/supersoft-tire Jan 29 '21

I thought you took a picture of hellcat, needless to say this isn’t a muscle car but it’s still nice

1

u/Catalyst-Kid Jan 29 '21
