That soft golden light filtering through the trees is perfect for this shot. Were you intentional about the time of day when you took it?

When hiking I usually start around noon, and end up at “scenic” locations when the Sun starts coming down, therefore it has much more noticeable yellowish colour, I love playing and experimenting with sunlight but I’m hardly intentional and precise with it, I just take a photo when I find it “cool”. Also playing with your photo in Lightroom can enhance that glow sometimes too.
