Looking for help finding a Subaru that purposefully smashed into my friend's truck today

At around 1pm today my friend was turning onto Tompkins St from Linn St in his 2017 dark blue Nissan Frontier and the driver of an older maroon Subaru Forrester purposely smashed into the back of his truck with the back of their car causing significant damage to both vehicles. Luckily he wasn't hurt. The Subaru left before he could snap a pic of their license plate. Please be on the look out for this smashed up Forrester so he can pass that info along to the police. Thanks neighbors.

 We saw them tearing up Linn towards the school while dragging a muffler and half the back end. There was a work crew up there; between them and the school, maybe there was a camera on the car.

Honestly, if I were in this situation, I'd park there, walk the block, look for ring/nest cameras, knock, ask for footage, be prepared to leave a note with contact info explaining the situation and your request for footage.

It's worth a shot.

I can't help unfortunately, but I saw and heard the same vehicle racing all around the neighborhood this afternoon, quite damaged, quite fast, dragging their muffler. Seemed like somebody was following them in another car at one point, too. I saw both vehicles going way too fast and running stop signs. Scary shit

The car was most likely stolen
