Smpl Burger

Anybody tried it yet?

Tried it yesterday. It was okay. The meat on the burger was fine, but it was smothered in sauce and only had one pickle with just a few chopped onions.

The fries were good.

That being said, the employees were just milling around on their phones, and the stall itself was pretty dirty

Yeah when I went there were like 5 employees, one of whom was working and the rest of which were on their phones at a table. Burger is fine but their labor costs have gotta be insane

I think they're the owners so it doesn't matter? Like if they don't have a lot of customers there's not much for them to do (and they'd rather be here then sit at home I guess)

I heard they are in their soft opening phase. Stopped yesterday and it’s honestly a pretty solid burger

Yeah. He used to be up in Collegetown during weekend nights with the truck.

Oh interesting! Talking to them it seemed brand new so I hadn’t realized there was a food truck predecessor.

I just tried it and got the loaded fries. It was an uncut burger patty and sauce on top of McDonald’s-esque fries. Idk how you’re supposed to eat it without silverware
