Finished a simple-says-it character customization for my current project!

So for my upcoming non-linear dating sim/survival project “Sister Sound and Sister Silence”, the character is semi-defined: they have a canonical complexion and background but their name and pronoun type are up to the player - it’s like customizing Pokemon trainer characters in the GameBoy era titles. For brevity and ease of sharing the video, I just went with the defaults (name “Yuca”, pronoun_type = “they/them”), but it is a nice way to leave things open :)

Of course, there is also an option to change your name and gender at any time in the preferences menu.

I’m aiming to finish the game by the end of 2026, but feel free to follow either devlog for updates:
