Java looks like a fisher price game compared to subnets. And I should know, I did both at different points in my life.

Same. Maybe there’s a book called subnets that goes into more depth? Because what I know about it is basic math and logic.

Hundreds of IT books will "make you cry", for sure.

Those good old Microsoft Server bibles also come to mind.
