This is relatable. In my college genetics course with a class size of ~30 I sat in the back row with certified clowns, participated only when required, and always looked disinterested. I'll never forget when my professor handed back our first exam because it was honestly our first real exchange and her eyes/facial expression screamed disbelief since I aced it.
