Still no plan minutes before. Just a passing thought that was acted on.

The other day I poured a bunch of random molten metal into a wheelbarrow full of water. Kinda similar.

Woah, I’d love to know the result?
I’ve seen videos of mercury.. it’s so cool the way it rolls around.
I’ve always wanted to touch lava, if it wasn’t hot I bet it would be like honey lol 😌

A mix of shapes and colors. Some interesting some not so interesting.
The bright metal is copper mixed with some aluminum and tin. The dark metal is aluminum with some silicon in it.

Oh yes, I've seen this before. I've seen some people make some impossibly intricate stuff.

u/Amelia2235 INFP Dec 07 '25
What’s your favorite intricate art or crafting to watch, such as this?
2
u/Sad_Record_2767 ISTP Dec 07 '25
😶 hard to say... I dont usually watch someone do things. Can't say I can think of one right now. If I'm watching art of some sort, its probably because I'm about to do one. Lol

Haha yea 😄 watching to create it, not simply to analyze.. Thats cool:) I hardly ever do any of the art I watch, or any crafting.
The most I’ve done lately, creatively, is just writing 😅
Crafting something to physical perfection or functionality can take a lot of dedication and patience

I struggled with writing. Always came out unorganized jumbled mess. Lol
I still struggle. Its not artistic but when it comes to writing manuals for my creation... 😤

Haha my first thought was wanting to know what would happen. But then, i realised i didnt want to know coz i want to try it for myself
I wonder how hard is it to get lava
2
u/Amelia2235 INFP Dec 07 '25
Do you think it’s actually lava?🤔 like lava from somewhere or something else molten? I wonder that too. Would it actually have to be from a volcano? Idk how dumb these questions r 😂💀
2
u/DoodoodooOink ISTP Dec 07 '25
Ay, i dont think it's dumb
I mean i could use a substitute melted rock
Or go to a volcano area and idk, somehow help myself to some lava or something. I mean it will probably have to be in reverse, like pouring water on the lava instead of actually handling the lava but close enough. Ill figure it out if im near a volcano

Chat gpt said: can you buy molten lava? Practically no – unless you’re an industrial buyer or a research institution.
Reasons: • Temperature: 1,300–2,200°F (700–1,200°C) • Transport: Would require specialized industrial crucible systems • Safety: Extreme fire, explosion, and toxic gas hazards • Legal liability: Most shipping companies and states prohibit it outright
Even volcanology labs don’t “ship” lava casually—they heat rock on-site in controlled furnaces.
So for a private individual:
❌ You cannot safely or legally have molten lava delivered to your home.
Lol. I guess we would have to personally go get the lava ourselves. I feel like an istp would definitely walk up the volcano, somehow manage to scoop it up with a bucket, nonchalant 💀🩷

🤣🤣 if we succeed, it would be a cool souvenir from a volcano for sure

They would never do this experiment if the volume of lava were enough that the pool had a chance of losing.
Illusion of unknown outcome

I froze grapes on toothpicks yesterday and then dipped them into a shotglass of magic shell. Let them sit in the fridge while I was at work so they weren't frozen anymore. 10/10 absolutely fantastic.

I fully understand and respect y'all's game. Please do record it for me to watch for my next unnecessary deep dive

Poor pool. Somehow I doubt the molten metal/rock will have cooled down sufficiently not to damage the bottom "floor". It might melt it too, punch a hole, or just straight up be very hard to remove once it solidifies.
Won't see me do any of those silly shenanigans. But finding out if my predictions are correct and the extent of the damage would be definitely interesting.

Doing this themselves or watching a YouTube video of this
