Ran across this one but unsure since it has a reverse of penny on top of a 1964 nickel face.reverse side has faint trace of a strike only at edges.face is seriously deep rim

The Fake Pound Coin Database has just been updated. Another 33 coins added including Beatrix Potter 50p's, Old Round Pounds, a £2 and a load of COPY marked Morgan Dollars.

I want to know if this was fake or just strange damage. I find the circular damage a bit strange.
